MK Scout District have been busy again this bank holiday as they did thier traditional bag drop at the MK Marathon.

With 7000 bags to look after and make sure these were put in numerical order based on the runners numbers they certainly had their work cut out. Over 30 Explorers Scouts, Scouts, Cubs and Beavers gave up their Bank Holiday Monday to make this happen.

It is fantastic that MK Scouting is able to help and support probably the biggest event of the year in MK. Hearing the stories and experiences of the runners is humbling and makes the day all the more worth wile.

As the organiser of the event it is fantastic to see so many young people working together as a team and it really does restore the reasons we do scouting. Explorer Scouts working with Beaver Scouts and teaching them skills for life.

I would like to thank all the Young People and Adult Volunteers that support Marathon 2019 and i look forward to working with you all again.
