1st Wolverton Scout Group are well and truly in the Christmas Spirit. Despite the current restrictions on no residential trips this did not stop there bi-annual Christmas camp.

With thanks to social media and zoom they were still able to hold the camp virtually.

The Beavers, Cubs and Scouts all enjoyed the action packed weakened full of activities oh and the leaders also looked like they had a great time as well.

Activities started on the Friday night with a challenge to make the largest paper chain and the winner was recorded at 200 links. Followed by Storytime and there is no better book than the night before Christmas.

Saturday bought an incredibly special zoom link with the North Pole and the man himself Santa, also opened presents. And played a game where all members had to make a wreath.

Other activities included making advent calendars, Christmas hats and crackers to name just a few.

Thank you goes to all the parents/carers that assisted the members at home and all the leaders for making the event still possible in these uncertain times.

1st Wolverton is one of the oldest Scout groups in the Milton Keynes and they are proud to be able to offer skills for life to the young people of Wolverton and surrounding areas.
