We are extremely proud of Charlotte and Rhiannon who are members of Network MK and have recently been presented with the Scouts Of The World Award (SOWA). This is one of the highest awards that you are able to earn in Scouting.
Rhiannon and Charlotte took on a project at one of our Scout Huts in MK and made this more user friendly for the young people in the group. Making this an area that they can use to provide new experiences and learn new skills.
Josh (Network Commissioner) had this to say: I have just been up to present Charlotte and Rhiannon their Scouts of the World awards. The project they selected for the award was to renovate the outside of a Scout hut in Milton Keynes including the fire pit, flower pots so Scouts can learn about planting and a vegetable patch. This is the first SOWA presented in Buckinghamshire so it was amazing and well deserved for Charlotte and Rhiannon to receive it!!!
Huge well done to them both and we know that the group have already enjoyed many hours in their new environment and will continue to do so.
