Welcome Back
As you may or may not know MK Scout District plays a huge part in the MK Marathon and have done for many years now.
This year I would like us to have our own volunteer t-shirts and I thought let’s make this more exciting and run a competition so here it is !!

All you need to do is create your design and send this by email to [email protected]

I have attached a picture of last year’s Marathon Volunteers T-Shirt for some inspiration.

There is only one thing I ask is that people will be able to see we are MK Scouts.

Oh and I forgot to say there will be a prize for the winning design and everyone that signs up will get a t-shirt to wear and keep on the day.

Get Creative.

Our Next Generation Of Leaders In Training
Our young leaders that support our groups here in MK have recently attended Module A Training. It is great that we are seeing more YP attending the training and the ideas and experiences that they have been exposed to are excellent.

The Young Leaders here in MK play a vital role in the running of the programmes and we are proud of them all. We would like to thank all of them for the hard work and dedication they put in on a weekly basis.

We also would like to extnd our thanks to the leaders out there in the groups that support our Young Leaders and make them feel valued.
Beavers On The Air
1st Middleton Beavers spent an evening with Bucks Scout Radio where they got the opprtunity to learn the ropes of radio and also plan and broadcast a show on the air.

The Beavers had an awesome time and partents were able to listen at home.

The evening fun and exciting and was also a first for Bucks Scout Radio as they had never interviewed Beavers before and they were pleasantly surprised by the confidence of the Young People. All the shows that were planned were excellent and the Beavers really do know what Radio is all about. This also goes towards badges so its a win win for the Beavers.

If you would like to find out more about what Bucks Scout Radio can doe for you please dont hesitate to contact them.
