If you have seen me in the last 2 months, you will probably have heard me getting excited about this year’s Towersey Festival. If you haven’t….. Towersey is a family music festival that’s been running for nearly 60 years. Music, comedy, loads of family stuff, food and beer. Confusingly it’s not in Towersey its at the Claydon estate, same place as 00Bucks was. See the flyer below. 

We were asked to help at the last festival and made good cash for running the car park, well we did such a job they have asked us back. This time we can be a bit more organised! 

The deal is you give me 4 hours per day, up to 4 days, or any parts of the weekend you can do, to help with the parking and you get full camping and festival tickets for the weekend. We do a good job and Towersey give us ££££ to go towards replacing the Lodge at the Quarries. Win, Win, Win. 

This isn’t a Scout event, although we will be there as MK District raising money for the Quarries. No unaccompanied under18s (sorry) but if you wish to come as a family, great. It’s a family event. 

We are not being asked to do anything more complicated than the carparking, hi-vis, silly hats and a quick briefing and we are ready to go. 

We are going to need 30 of us to run the parking, it will be done in shifts, so everyone gets to enjoy the festival. But if there are more than 30, 

we all get more time in the festival.
