We’re so excited to launch the next phase of our selection process for our 2027 international experiences, Bucks Grand Tour and the 26th World Scout Jamboree in Poland!

If you’re born between 30th July 2009 and 30th July 2013, then this is for you

What to expect:

Head to this link to complete the application form. Here we will collect some essential information and you will have the opportunity to tell us about yourself and why you would like to go on either one of these once in a lifetime experiences. You can pause and come back to the form at any point. The application form will close on 24/09/2025.

Places are limited on the selection weekend, this form is our first impression of you so be sure to show us your best self. The selection team will let you know if you have been successful at this point by 1st October 2025 after which point you will be provided with the relevant information for attending the selection weekend.

The international selection weekend will see you working in teams, getting involved in fun activities, going on a short hike, and even cooking your own dinner. The activities that you undertake this weekend will tell the selection team a lot about you and which international experience that you might be best suited to.

There will be plenty of participants and adults onsite, so chances are you’ll already know some familiar faces. At the same time, making new friends is a big part of international Scouting experiences, and this weekend is the perfect place to start.

We will aim to let you know if you have been successful within two weeks of the event.

Some things to note.

We are currently waiting for confirmation of our final allocation of places for each trip, and we expect to have this information very soon. We are also awaiting the final costings for both international events and will share these with you as soon as they are confirmed.

For guidance, the typical cost of attending a World Scout Jamboree is around £3,500. While this may sound like a big number, it is designed with fundraising in mind over the two years leading up to the event. Many young people who have taken part in past international experiences have successfully reached this target, and we have lots of advice, resources, and encouragement in place to help every participant achieve it. Fundraising not only makes the trip affordable but also builds valuable skills, friendships, and memories long before the adventure even begins.
