On Saturday 19th November Milton Keynes was host to the first GSLs and DCs Conference under the new County Commissioner James Palin.
A number of GSLs attended this event from our district and the reports that we have received have been very positive. After speaking to James we have decided that we would like to get a interview with him on MK Scout Radio so watch out for that coming very soon.

Another part of the day was to present some awards to leaders that were there and this included 2 leaders from our district.
- Barbara Smith – 1st Wolverton was presented with her Chief Scouts Commendation For Good Service.
- Paul Holloway – 5th Newport Pagnell was presented his Award Of Merit
Well done to all those that received awards at the conference.
