Being Firefighter is every Cubs dream and 1st Bletchley Cubs were lucky enough to visit the Blue Light Hub in MK this week. Meeting the team of firefighters at the hub and learning about what they do.

They also got the opportunity to see what each fire engine has onboard and what each piece of equipment does including the jaws of life. Then it was time to fire up the hoses and each Cub had the opportunity to use one. The power of these took some of the Cubs by surprise but they loved it.

Leaders that were on the visits said: The Cubs have had an awesome time and so have we, learning about how the fire service support the community and seeing how the equipment they have can save lives. Our cubs have asked some really great questions and this is well worth a visit. We would like to say a huge thank you to the team at the hub for their time and support.
