Great to see that our readiness level has changed to green and allowing us to offer these great activities again. 1st Crownhill have returned from their first sleepover for a while and rumour has it we have some Ninja Beavers in the District.

We managed to catch up with Dawn (Beaver Leader) and this is what she told us –

“Nearly 2 years had passed since out last sleepover so of the 18 Beavers who had signed up only 1 had been away with us before, but all our first timers did brilliantly.
The weather on Saturday was not kind but we managed to switch activities around and still make the most of it, Beavers particularly enjoyed caving.  We had to move our campfire indoors, our two newest members made their promises and then we toasted marshmallows over tea lights.
Sunday was much brighter and we enjoyed go karting, archery, slack lining and time on the adventure playground – all part of our Ninja training.
The Beaver leadership team was joined by three enthusiastic parent volunteers who also enjoyed their first sleepover experience. It was good to get back to a fundamental part of the programme that we have really missed”
